With Lighting—Fantastic! |

Without Lighting—Good It’s nearly impossible to light every art piece in your home, so let’s start with the obvious pieces. The mantle is one of the most popular places to hang art. If you do not have lighting in the ceiling, it is worth the investment to have it installed.
What a difference it makes! Your art will gain the importance it is due. And suddenly the focal point of the room truly stands out. In addition you have ambient light that gives a room warmth and style.
Who would think that style can come from lighting? It does and when the subject is a great piece of art, all the better! |

is now available! If you have an interior business this DVD could be the ticket you need to create more interest in your business. See the trailer!
Designers often ask me how I connect with prospective clients. I will tell you that it’s usually never by accident. You build your business by building relationships. And that takes planning. What I mean is that you can’t meet people and develop relationships if you are stuck in your office.
Invite guests to a Start With ART! seminar. When reaching out to people it is important to offer some value for free. That’s why I added my Free Resources page to my web site. It features free articles about art and framing that you may wish to download, print and give to prospects. They will be impressed that you gave them some valuable information. Your clients will likely not be apt to take the initiative to design for themselves. That’s why they call you!
For example, I once had an inkling to do some re-upholstering for myself. I bought a book and soon realized that this was more than I had bargained for. By learning about the process, I was convinced that I had neither the time nor the patience to do it myself!
So, no worries. I always give my book to customers on the first appointment. They get ideas and see that they lack some key insight to their interior. It seals the deal, so to speak.
You can offer my book, too. See wholesale book page. Offer my book and niche your business. When people meet you and see what you have to offer, they will think of you when they have art and design needs.
