I just wanted to let you know that Mark and I consulted your book several times tonight to find out how we should hang the mirrors we just bought and to move some art around in our house. We placed one mirror above our sofa, read your book to make sure that was the right thing to do, and realized from the book that it wasn't, and then moved the mirror somewhere else! ?
Anyway, just wanted to tell you your book helped us a lot tonight!

I have been in the retail/custom framing side since the late 60's where I began as a framer in training to help pay my way through art school. I am still painting and still framing today.
I just opened my package this morning with your book inside. Love it! Start With Art! This is the first book I have ever seen that spells out in black and white what I try to convey to my clients every day. I've tried to tell that to people for years. You have done it much better than I.
Actually you nailed the artist side pretty well……………much less concerned with the décor of a room than the art on the walls. I have grown to appreciate the decorator/designers approach too however but most do not think as you do. I've had to hang many homes and office spaces too. Unfortunately none of them have started with the art.
Your book is wonderful! An educated customer is my best customer. You have taken it to another level however, one I can only admire. I want to offer your book to my customers. I'd like to send it to my professional clients, designers too…………
I wish you much success. Recommended reading for everyone. I'd like to offer your book for sale in my shop as should every frame shop.

I've just received your book. It's very good, actually it's great. The art/picture framing market is missing this kind of thing. All other framing books seem either to be aimed at the picture framer, or art fanatics - completely missing the everyday person on the street - our customer.
Certainly, I would like to carry it in my store, and I know other outlets that would be delighted with it too.

I'm an art and framing consultant like you (except not quite as savvy!). My background is as a full service interior decorator,… I recently relocated and decided to specialize in the one part of the whole process that I loved the most and that had the biggest impact (art). I do not have a retail store front as I prefer not to stand and wait for business to come to me. I prefer to be in the space where the art is to be located so that I "see the whole picture".
You may not realize it, but you are my mentor! I'm in total awe of what you are doing and have accomplished so I check your website frequently. I try to keep optimistic with the mantra, "If Suzanne can do it, I can do it." Any advice you'd be willing to share or any opportunity to affiliate would be amazing!
